If you’re a fan of White Widow, you’ll be excited to try its new offspring, Himalayan Gold. The White Gold cannabis strain compliments of Sensi Seeds is an Indica-dominant hybrid averaging 5% higher THC levels than its esteemed parents. The White Gold strain THC level usually sits at 20%, although it can reach a high of 25%. At its lowest, it is an impressive16%, which is more potent than most marijuana strains. This high THC content is in part thanks to the White Gold strain terpenes. This feminized strain is a multifaceted, 60/40 Indica-dominant hybrid, with dense nugs and a majestic display of trichomes.

Sativa/Indica % Indoor Yield Outdoor Yield Flowering Period
40%/60% up to 2 oz per square foot at least 3 ounces 7-10 weeks indoors, by early fall outdoors

Look further into White Gold strain genetics, and you will discover a lineage of heavy hitters. The notorious White Widow herself, the product of two landrace strains, is jam-packed with trichomes that deliver a cerebral high few can match. Himalayan Gold, on the other hand, is a true master of the mellow body high. It’s no surprise that bringing these two together has resulted in a strain with the caliber to hold its own.

Since its introduction, the White Gold marijuana strain has become a fan-favorite, leading to Archive Seed Bank and Expert Seeds hopping aboard the breeder train. Though these strains do well enough to hold their own, their White Gold strain genetics is slightly different. In this White Gold review, we will be looking at the Sensi Seeds OG.

White Gold is an optimum social lubricant that leaves party-goers feeling cheerful, talkative, and somewhat giggly in no time. These feelings of mental euphoria are extended to the body, soothing the muscles with a contented physical high. In larger doses, this strain is a wonderful nighttime companion, especially for insomniacs. White Gold strain terpenes have anti-inflammatory properties that are great for combating chronic pain and tummy issues, such as nausea, vomiting, and lack of appetite.

The mantra here is quality over quantity – White Gold is best consumed in small doses early in the day.

White Gold Strain Fragrance

This cannabis does not hide from the world. And why should it? The White Gold weed strain confidently airs a scent that is both pungent and recognizable. The most obvious aroma will be the earthy tones, but a second whiff will indicate lemon, spice, and diesel hints. Perhaps a hint of what’s to come on the inhale? This mixture of earthy diesel and tropical citrus only adds to the allure.

White Gold Strain Flavors

The White Gold marijuana strain tastes as good as it feels. This mighty herb has taken the best nature has to offer and presented us with a mouth-watering combination of earthy flavors and fruity goodness. The earthy tones are strongest on the exhale, bringing with them some flavors of diesel and spice. Don’t worry though, the fruitiness kicks in to offer a combination that is both pungent and sweet.

White Gold will give you the stamina and confidence to get going and be social, and later allow you to relax with its contented body high. Find seeds with similar traits in our shop.

Adverse Reactions

Whatever your White Gold strain THC level may be, the effects you can expect rely heavily on the amount you consume. White Gold is sticky and consuming a lot can quickly have you drooling out the corner of your mouth as you fight the weight of your eyelids. Though the risk is higher with beginners, experts may find themselves moving from pleasantly baked to completely fried in large quantities. On the flip side, smaller doses taken late at night may have you lying in bed unsuccessfully willing yourself to sleep. Until you find the perfect amount for you, it is best to enjoy this strain early in the day in small quantities and gradually increase over time.

Keep a jug of water nearby, and invest in some eye drops. Dry eyes and mouth are common side effects of potent strains, and White Gold is no different. It’s not uncommon to experience headaches and dizziness, regardless of how much you consume. Those with a low THC tolerance may find themselves becoming paranoid, so they should smoke this with a good friend nearby just in case.

Growing White Gold Strain

No White Gold strain review would be complete without a few tips for the budding weedologists out there. This is not a high-maintenance plant, although it can be delicate, especially in the beginning stages. The good news is, when the right techniques are applied, this easy-growing plant offers a nice harvest with minimal effort.

This plant itself is quite extraordinary looking, with massive olive-jade nugs and dark amethyst leaves coated with amber pistils that give it a furry appearance. It is medium in width and height, but the colas are long and dense. These resin-covered colas give the plant a sticky, sugary appearance upon ripening. When exposed to colder temperatures, the nugs crystallize and turn purple, an indicator of the strain’s potency.

White Gold is moderately easy to cultivate, making it a favorite among growers. It can be successfully grown indoors and outdoors, as long as the environment is sunny and warm. Both offer a large yield and are fairly easy to maintain, but using the SOG (Sea of Green) or SCROG (Screen of Green) method will have the best results (if you can handle the pungent smell).

Flowering

White Gold cannabis strain has a short flowering time.

Indoor

The average indoor yield can reach up to 2 oz per square foot and is ready for harvest in about ten weeks. With advanced growing techniques, you can harvest as early as seven weeks.

Outdoor

Less control over the environment means higher maintenance but greater reward. You can expect a yield of at least 3 ounces by early fall.
