Effects

The Crystal strain takes a couple of minutes to build its effects, but it’s worth the slight wait. The moderately high THC content leads to a satisfyingly euphoric trip for just about everyone. Growing

The Crystal cannabis strain is one of the easiest strains to grow. It’s not picky; you can grow it hydroponically or outdoors. It’s successful in high-stress training situations, in SCROG growing, and even in SOG growing if it’s trimmed regularly. Indoor plants average about four feet tall, while outdoor plants can easily shoot up to nine feet with the extra light.

The strain is moderately bushy, but it can grow vertically in the right conditions. You can keep it in a smaller grow room if you train it well – just be prepared to trim it once a week or so when it really gets going. Sea of Green growing can yield great results as well, Lollipopping is a good idea, as it will help with airflow.

The buds Crystal produces are dense, large, and completely covered in trichomes. That puts them at risk of mildew in extremely high humidity. Luckily, the Crystal strain is relatively resistant to pests and can handle moderately humid climates. Just keep humidity below 60%. For the best results, start with high-quality seeds. Flowering Time

Indoor

Growers keeping their plants indoors should expect their harvest in about nine weeks. These plants can produce 14-16 ounces of bud per square yard.

Outdoor

In the northern hemisphere, Crystal strain plants grown outside will get impressively large, with the harvest to match. Expect plants to be ready for harvest in early October, especially in sub-tropical environments. Look for 20-24 ounces of bud per plant.
